It's not flight. It's like what Knuckles can do in the Sonic games.
This is pretty much 'momentary flight'.
This isn't exactly flight...kinda, but not exactly. It's floating while moving forward (you can't hover above one spot for a period of time) and eventually you descend. Check out Prototype and/or Wikipedia. Difference is that with FLight you can hover and stay over one spot for a period of time.
