TK is versatile, doesn't mean it's overpowered (depends on user's control over the ability and the strength of the ability). Telekinetic energy and psionic energy are two names for the same. Technically, it's psionic energy, but that's a broad term and telekinetic energy is used to identify the energy behind telekinesis. Don't know if telekinetic energy is a canon term.

What do you mean? TK is short for Telekinesis. You will not have Ultimate TK if that's what you meant.

Specialized version (especially with fine motor control) can be: cutting someone's skull open without damaging the brain (Sylar) alter molecular valences, mentally alter clothing, creating a telekinetic/psionic sword (much like Psylocke's telekinetic katana) and even rewrite human genomes (all are Rachel Summer's abilities).

The thing about TK is that it is highly diverse. You can mix it with other powers, or use it for various effects, like increasing your strength and durability, or flight.

thanx for the comment Ghostdog_5, that made me feel better. telekinetic energy manipulation allows the user to generate forcefields and blasts of telekinetic energy, as telekinesis is to move objects with ones mind (although you most-likely already know that). but i think that a telekinetic would be able to use the same energy that they use to move objects with there mind to manipulate telekinetic energy in other ways as well (telekinetic forcfields and blasts most-likely).

Actually, I think that would be great. There are a lot of my powers I want to edit to give greater ambiance. My only problem would be supervising the changes. It might be aggravating having to deal with perfectionists.

And on tope of that, why not make us able to edit the powers we create, and you supervise the edits we make (like If I put Telekinesis, and forgot to add that forcefields, blasts could be generated, and I wanted to change it, I could)? Maybe that last part is too much...

Hmmmm... I'm thinking of adding a feature to the site where you can voice your concerns about certain superpowers. There would be a "Report Issue" button and you could specify that it's a duplicate or that it violates rules or whatever. Then, registered users could vote on whether or not they agree... what do you think?

yeah, telekinesis is a tricky thing to take into consideration...and then there's the thought that he may be telesthetic immune (immune to telesthetic effects like telesthesia, telepresence, sense projection and telekinesis...he can still move things with his mind, he'd just be unable to use his power on himself for purposes like levitation and flight)

This is funny, when I ask my friends or family which superpowers they would take if they could have any, they take flight, invisibility, telepathy... Telekinesis is usually the less taken one. And on this website, it's the 4th most wanted...

Honestly I don't think you can use this to fly. You can move anything but yourself, this is a very ancient power by the way not just on this website. If your looking for flight it's Levitation or Flight you want.
