The ability to sever the bonds between individuals.
Parents, friends, a girlfriend/boyfriend, a husband/wife, exes, a boss, colleagues, the doctor, the baker, the guy they bumped into on the street, the girl they met in the lift, a rival, a kidnapper or a bully. Whenever two people interact with each other, a bond is created. Someone with this power can see these bonds and cut them. When it happens, both of them will forget everything about each other after experiencing a short sentiment of grief or relief depending on their former relationship.
The good:
Get rid of a rival in love or a family member by making them forget their love or their family ties.
Help someone forget their past as a victim or a former prison convict and move on.
Dissolve groups of people, such as allies, sport teams or gangs.
The bad:
Material traces, such as photographs, videos, phone numbers, or even common friends, still remain.
It doesn't prevent the two people from creating new bonds.
Doesn't work with animals and objects.

This power affects the memory in a severe way
Yes, you can break up the whole group by making them forget who their allies are or make them forget about who their enemies are.
Can it work while in combat? It could be the beast idea of breaking up a villian group while spying on them.
