Superpower: Liquid Shock Absorb
The ability to resist impact force by temporarily becoming gelatinous
If your body senses imminent impact, Liquid Shock Absorb will turn your tissues into a gelatinous substance capable of absorbing or redirecting the force. Depending on what hits you, the vibrations may be enough to crack pavement or break bones. After being struck your cells relax and enter a liquid state which is more susceptible to damage and is more difficult to control. Because of this, successive hits may eventually cause damage, but it also allows for increased flexibility.
The good:
Ability activates automatically
Almost invulnerable
Increased flexibility and striking power
The bad:
Succesive hits may cause damage to internal organs
Losing control of your body in liquid form

Well, were you to be ripped apart, you couldn't recombine. However, only an energy-based attack could do that. Any physical attack, even if concentrated to a pin-point, can be absorbed and redirected.

Question, if the body is hit hard enough with an acute enough source of power, would it in theory rip the gelatinous body to many pieces. If so, can you recombine yourself?
