The Superpower List - A growing list of superpowers, created by you. Dream the impossible.
Superpower: Mjollnir
The ability to carry the mighty hammer of a thunder god
Use Mjollnir to break mountains or crack some skulls. You have the ultimate weapon. No godling, alien, man or beast can withstand a blow from it. If you throw it Mjollnir will always hit its mark and always return to you. You can make enemies think you are weaponless by hiding it in your tighty whiteys. Then whip it out (the hammer) and beat the snot out of them. You are almost immortal while Mjollnir is yours.
The good:
Sword in the stone rule: only you can lift Mjollnir
Eventually control lightning, fly, teleport thru an astral realm and ride giant goats, yeah goats
You'll be 7 ft tall with long curly red hair, massive muscles, superstrength and a love of violence
The bad:
Dragons, cross-dressing murderous trickster half-brother/sister, frost-giants, and dark elves
You'll have to die a warrior's death or no burning boat funeral or Valhalla for you
Ragnarok will happen on Earth as long as you possess the hammer and you will not survive

Marvel's version of Thor is blonde. In most of my extensive research (wikipedia) he has curly red hair.
DoomBringer  (6/09/2010 at 5:08 p.m.)
Thor is blond, isn't he?

Or on a seperate page that is linked to the superpower page. There you can also discuss the focus (attack, defense etc.) and the status allignment of a power (sleep, pertify etc.). Also a flag option should be implemented where you can debate if and why a superpower has to go (Forum, new site features, March 27). So two links should be on all superpower pages: one to discuss the Battle Arena effects of that power and that one to discuss the removal of that power
WHD  (4/03/2010 at 8:21 a.m.)
I guess just a high damage output, which becomes lower if one is invulnerable. Many powers would get a different function/effect in the Battle Arena since otherwise they are too powerful (or make the user undefeatable). With Immortality you cannot die and thus cannot lose. That will not work, so it could give you more resistance to attacks or remove side effects from power like Awakened Power. Maybe it's a good idea to discuss the Battle Arena effects of powers in a new forum thread.

Since you said No godling, alien, man or beast can withstand a blow from it, does that mean if your opponent is hit by Mjollnir he will be reduced to 0 hp.
Ghostdog_5  (3/28/2010 at 2:09 p.m.)
You're going to have to be more specific alexander121793.
alexander121793  (3/28/2010 at 2:32 a.m.)
How would Mjollnir work in the battle area?
Ghostdog_5  (3/27/2010 at 11:23 p.m.)
You cannot die by conventional means (you are a god). Yet, Ragnorak will happen here & you could save Earth by glorious sacrifice and earn you place Valhalla where you will get all cozy with Valkyries & mead.
alexander121793  (3/27/2010 at 9:55 p.m.)
What do you mean by you are almost immortal while Mjollnir is yours?
Ghostdog_5  (3/27/2010 at 7:14 p.m.)
unfortunately Mjollnir was created before Shadowulf's epic Mythpower additions. Lex, I'm beginning to think you like Wish's Endurance Drain power. Check out Reincarnation Determination, now that was a scary power to have.
alexander121793  (3/27/2010 at 6:21 p.m.)
Isn't Mjollnir one of the only weopons that are able to injure a person with the power of endurance drain? Would someone with the power endurance drain be able to withstand a blow from Mjollnir?
alexander121793  (3/27/2010 at 6:16 p.m.)
Mjollnir would be great to have along with the mythpowers.
Shadowulf1  (3/27/2010 at 6:12 p.m.)
yeah what he said... :D
WishIHadThis  (3/27/2010 at 6:10 p.m.)
alexander Mjollnir, is a divine weapon the ability I created drains endurance, but the endurance of divine objects are pretty much infinite so my ability will work but it will never be able to destroy it
Shadowulf1  (3/27/2010 at 6:07 p.m.)
no...Mjollnir is a divine weapon, and thus is immune to natural damage...
alexander121793  (3/27/2010 at 6:05 p.m.)
If someone had the power endurance drain that drains somethings endurance until it shatters would they be able to shatter Mjollnir?
Shadowulf1  (3/27/2010 at 2:16 a.m.)
Invulnerable means that PHYSICAL attacks do no harm. That doesn't always prevent harm by psionics, mysticism, magic or the like.
Ghostdog_5  (3/27/2010 at 2:12 a.m.)
What is invulnerable? If the person is invulnerable to physical attacks, does it mean they are invulnerable to mental attacks, mystic? Are they immovable? They must come-a-calling with all these prerequisites if they hope to withstand the hammer. Oh and yes, a person with super-strength will cause much more damage, if they own the hammer.
alexander121793  (3/27/2010 at 12:53 a.m.)
You said nothing can withstand a attack from Mjollnir does that include people with the power invulnerability? Could a person with super strength couse more damage with Mjollnir than someone who doesen't have super strength.
Zaleramancer  (3/26/2010 at 11:55 p.m.)
I only answered the obvious.. i leave the rest up to you XD
Ghostdog_5  (3/26/2010 at 11:54 p.m.)
Answering the question for the one who actually posted the power? I love that about this site, Wulfie and Zale are absolutely right.
Shadowulf1  (3/26/2010 at 11:29 p.m.)
I keep saying, GENETICS, GENETICS! The intensity, time slot during which they may be used, and the like, all vary with the user
Zaleramancer  (3/26/2010 at 11:17 p.m.)
Is an exact measurment needed? You could just "guess". After all its not like its an ironclad law of physics.
alexander121793  (3/26/2010 at 11:05 p.m.)
yes, how long before you get those powers.
Zaleramancer  (3/26/2010 at 10:58 p.m.)
It means you get those powers... eventually. Dont you think thats rather obvious?
alexander121793  (3/26/2010 at 10:55 p.m.)
What do you mean by Eventually control lightning, fly, teleport thru an astral realm and ride giant goats?
Zaleramancer  (1/26/2010 at 4:51 p.m.)
It changes all curse words to poop?
Scotch  (1/26/2010 at 4:40 p.m.)

Master_Logan  (1/26/2010 at 3:17 p.m.)

Master_Logan  (1/25/2010 at 6:23 p.m.)

justin  (1/25/2010 at 5:01 p.m.)

Shadowulf1  (1/25/2010 at 9:22 a.m.)

Master_Logan  (1/24/2010 at 10:09 a.m.)

Master_Logan  (1/24/2010 at 9:29 a.m.)

Scotch  (1/24/2010 at 2:02 a.m.)
Are you kidding me? That is the greatest!
Scotch  (1/24/2010 at 2:01 a.m.)
Alan poopming is the best. Another example: Has anyone ever read American Gods?
Ghostdog 5 (anonymous) (1/24/2010 at 12:24 a.m.)
A Loki character would be very hard to match. Has anyone seen the Mask?
Master_Logan  (1/23/2010 at 9:19 p.m.)
some should add a power for Loki
Zaleramancer  (1/23/2010 at 6:28 p.m.)
Lots of trickster gods shapeshift..
dragon  (1/23/2010 at 8:27 a.m.)
@ Master_logan Yes Loki is a god. He is the god of trickery and mischief
Master_Logan  (1/23/2010 at 8:16 a.m.)
Isn't Loki a guy? And the god of meischif?
Ghostdog_5  (1/23/2010 at 2:18 a.m.)
She already does.
Zaleramancer  (1/23/2010 at 2:16 a.m.)
So Loki will stalk you now? >.> <.< >.>
Ghostdog_5  (1/22/2010 at 11:53 p.m.)
No but I'm an fan of Authurian legend. It's closer to the Norse Myth than the comic book but its still not verbatim. You savvy?
667  (1/22/2010 at 6:16 p.m.)
Yep. Although I don't know if that's part of the original mythology. Is it?
Master_Logan  (1/22/2010 at 7:05 a.m.)
Yep hated by all. I mean really? Only you can pick up the hammer?
Ghostdog 5 (anonymous) (1/22/2010 at 12:42 a.m.)
Massive hammer, flight, lightning, weather control and you become a god. Yeah... I have no idea why people would like this power.
Master_Logan  (1/21/2010 at 8:38 p.m.)
The people want what the people want.
no_name  (1/21/2010 at 8:17 p.m.)
no offense but i just cant beleive this power the is most wanted
