The Superpower List - A growing list of superpowers, created by you. Dream the impossible.
Superpower: Pantheon By Day
The ability to mimic the powers and abilities of myth and legend
Read any myth or legend, touch the desired character's name & mimic their powers and abilities. For one day your former life will be forgotten by all and you will look exactly like the mythological or legendary figure. You could do this only once a day. There is no returning to your former self that day. You have the power until you sleep or 24 hours after you became Myth or Legend.
The good:
Phenomenal amounts of possibilities, all powers and abilities of the mythical person
Includes gender changing, growing appendages (such as wings) and paraphernalia materializing
Works on historical figures also if they have become legend
The bad:
Story must be over 70 years old, widely told and known by at least one culture
Must be able to read, and touch the character's name
Everyone forgets you exist and knows you only by the character's name or names for the day

Don't worry about it Kira it's different enough that i could not reject it. however... the declaration of shenanigans stands! (just don't ever look thru the comments and find out how many times I inadvertently copied Scotch and have been 667'ed on power additions)

Yes, I see. My story power is rather similar, and I try my best not to copy other powers intentionally. So I'm sorry. Hovever my power doesn't transform you, it just allows you to use the power from the story. It doesn't have the 70 year rule, You don't HAVE to be in contact with the book ( but it's preferable if you are), and you can keep using the powers without being limited to one or forgetting your identety. Once again, I am sorry for posting such a similar power.

Absolutely nameless one! From Apollo to Zeus you could be them all. I would stay away from Pan though, he was a bit of a creep.

Gargantuan opal bovine makes me want steak. Riddle me this: Would he have been a legend with giant tofu at his side?

Babe the Blue Ox, sir.
Scotch  (12/19/2009 at 12:21 p.m.)
He's the one WITH the ox, yes. The ox is The Blue Sumthinorotha.
Ghostdog_5  (12/19/2009 at 2:40 a.m.)
It's the ox isn't it. I know it's the ox, tell the truth, it is the ox. Right?
Scotch  (12/18/2009 at 4:31 p.m.)
Awesome! I'd be Paul Bunyan.
