The ability to create wards of any shape or size, that can slow, stop, or repel anything.
Abjuration gives you a whole heap of useful abilities. Yes, you can do basic wards which can stop bullets, or repel the ground so you can fly. But your imaginations the limit. Imangine the ability to look cool, by creating a ward that drives off all un-cool atributes. Non-detection wards that repel peoples vision so they can's see you, and stop sound from leaving. Catch bad guys with ease bu slowing down their get-away car to a crawl. This ability gives a massive amount of power.
The good:
can do anything, if you can figure out the right ward
much cooler name than, say, flight

What if you were taken by surprise by a thing for which you didn't have a ward? Or if your ward were overpowered? What would be the consequences?
