We live in a 3-D world. But there are more D's than meet the eye. A person with this ability exists in 4 dimensions. This allows them to do many feats, like stand outside the 3rd dimension and thus become invisible and intangible, knock people into the 4th dimension, see inside people's bodies, defy natural laws, and do many other impossible acts.
