Superpower: Power of Imagination
The ability to turn your imagination into reality
A simple (but also complex) power that enables the user to turn their imaginations into reality. Your limit is your own imagination and subconscious, because if you think that something is impossible, it will be impossible to you.
Can also be used to create imaginary creatures and realms that you can control, but this is limited by your logic.
This power could be a gift or a curse depending on the user's own mind and imagination. If you're a dreamer, then this power is absolutely for you.
The good:
Can create imaginary friends and realms
Can create new powers by using power
Optimists and daydreamers will find this REALLY useful
The bad:
People might think that you're crazy if you talk to your imaginary friends
Logical people might not be able to do a lot of things
You can't do anything that you think is impossible

This power is getting more wanted every day -it's now surpassed telepathy! It shouldn't be long until it's in the top ten most wanted powers again.
I never said anything about it being within reach, did I? Dyson spheres have been proposed, but they are known to be out of our reach. All I am saying is it MAY be POSSIBLE, not probable.

The idea that a universe is created every time a person makes a choice is a myth. Infinite universes exist already, where the choices may have been different. And a machine to access other universes like that is even less likely than a time machine, at least as far as present science is concerned (since, unlike time travel, we have no idea where to even start looking for traveling between universes).
I have actually figured out how a device like this may work, using the split universe theory. If we make a universe by dropping a stick of sneezing, who is to say that we can't artificially create a universe with the desired changes and put the changes into our reality (or enter it)? Some of the powers on this list may be possible after all. Note: I am not a physicist; I am going only by what I know. I simply believe it might be possible, but I know that at any moment I could be proved wrong

You can think about something without turning it into reality. So while a person may be thinking about things, it doesn't have to be come reality. Ability Sponge could provide protection against Imagination Crusher. And it yields you other power you can use to defend yourself if need be. Good call, Sini
Nope, even if someone without superpowers spoke using very descriptive words to the user of this ability they would be imagining about what the other person said especially if they don't want to think about it-"the thinking about pink elephants effect" This changes your thoughts to reality not your words so psychological attacks even non-superpowered are effective.
This + Ability Sponge = Face it, you're not being defeated. Lol.

Actually, there is a power that can beat this actually several. It's not invincible. Any of the fear inducing powers will make this power turn on the user, they will imagine their own defeat and death. Also if someone mentions gross disgusting things to the person with this power they will probably imagine things that are not pleasant. It's a double-edged sword ability.
I think this is similar to the Ultimate Power from the Charmed Universe. It's Billie's Projection power.
It requires touch? Ah, then it pretty much depends on who strikes first, which would most likely be the user with imagination. You just have to imagine his Imagination Crushing ability away.
Good thinking, but I'm not sure if that would work. I hope so, but you'd have to check with the creator of those powers. But there still isn't a power to defend you from Imagination Crusher (yet), although that requires touch and you can stop the touching with other powers. "Stop touching me" ... Telekinetic WHAM ... "Told you not to touch me; don't you ever learn? Why do you still try?"
Well, I could always imagine myself immune to ability-dampening attacks before that happened, lol. Or I could try to get Superpower Charge.
Good for you. Congratz. While it is very powerful, it can still be negated by Ability Uneffectiveness, Power Negation, Ability Dampening (affecting your power to do something) and your imaginations (constructs, powers, people) could be undone by Imagination Crusher. Not sure how you would "undo" a reaized/imagined realm, since you probably can't see those.

Good point, I should have phrased it differently, but I didn't have enough space to elaborate. Perhaps one could start with all the mind and memory powers on this site (enhancing your memory/brain etc), move on to mythpowers (be godlike/divine) and astral powers (to learn from astral/ethereal being). I'm not saying you are instantly omni-something, but eventually you could get there: it's an possibility. You might get those powers and you might as well not.
Jeez WHD, this power has nothing on omnipotence or any of the omni powers A human's mind can't even fathom any of the omnipowers since they are truly beyond human thought so this power has a limit sure we can think of omnipotence as a concept but you can't really describe true omnipotence
It is possibly the most powerful ability on the site. You could do anything if you put your mind to it. It's almost a sort of omnipotence. You can even grant yourself any ability you want, maybe even omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, all god powers and Mythpowers etc. And in lolcat speak: I has it!!!

This power is so powerful that it's almost scary. I'm not even sure I would take it, it would be far too much responsibilities. Like fleefromemee said, I might destroy the world by accident. ^^
