Superpower: Reality Rift
The ability to create portals in between locations
This could be either one of the most blatantly powerful abilities or a very understated power, all in how you use it. A person with Reality Rift can tear holes in the fabric of reality connecting two locations; these holes do not close until something passes through them. These can either be huge gaping portals to space or tiny tears only big enough for a hand. One of the most suble ways to use this power is to create a rift just behind one door, walk though it, and come out another door.
The good:
Fast, effective teleportation
No distance limit
Can be huge and epic or tiny and understated
The bad:
Rifts don't close until something goes through
Must open first portal with hand
No physical powers

This is an interesting power, I wish I could find that Get This Power button
You can, but it's difficult because they 'want' to close. It's like trying to plug a faucet with your finger, but only in reverse.
Do the portals have to close once something has gone through them, or can you sustain them?
Once an object--or two objects very close together--go through a rift, it stays open for a second longer before collapsing in on itself.
so, one object per rift? or after something passes through them do they close after a certain time?
